Fellow Veterans and Friends of Veterans:
Tomorrow, The Veterans Revolution will hold its 55th consecutive Sunday Rally. How many have you attended?
The average age of our "Front Line" of Veterans that post themselves first in the protest line facing traffic is 80.3 years of age. How old are you?
Thanks to these loyal and patriotic Veterans who continue to dedicate themselves every Sunday to this noble cause to "Save Our Veterans Land" Steve Palmer, 86 years old - World War II Hank Pepeika, 82 years old - Korean War Dick Breithaupt, 80 years old - Korean War Newt Young, 80 years old - Korean War Larry Cardenas, 78 years old - Korean War George Jacobs, 76 years old Bettina Michaels, 80 years old -- Veteran widow
Lencha, the loyal "watch dog" of Veteran Larry Cardenas shows up every Sunday, even though she is 91 years old in dog years and blind in both eyes.
What disabilities do you have that prevent you from attending Sunday Rallies?
Helen Keller was left blind, deaf, and mute after an illness in infancy, yet she overcame her disabilities and went on to help others. Later in life, she remarked: "Science may have found a cure for most evils, but it has found no remedy for the worst of them all – the apathy of human beings."
If Veterans don't care about corrupt politicians and greedy neighbors stealing their land, then who's going to stop them from stealing even more land?
"Saving Our Veterans Land" is not an easy job. If it was easy, somebody else would have already done it. The job is ours to do! If not us, who? If not now, when?
Today marks the 41st anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who led a cause that changed America. It was not easy and often times a lonely battle. This prompted him to proclaim: "In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends."
We know the words of our enemies ... that this sacred land deeded exclusively to Veterans healthcare and rehabilitation now needs to be "preserved as open space" and become a "central park west." We also know that there has been silence by some Veterans and Friends of Veterans who will not stand up, speak out and protest against these egregious land grabbers. Where do you stand?
Thomas Jefferson forewarned more than two centuries ago: “To remain silent when they should protest makes cowards of men.”
Join The Veterans Revolution and speak out by helping to defend the Los Angeles National Veterans Home. You will proud of your "Sunday Duty" when you witness and experience the supportive response of the horn-honking, thumbs-up, fist-pumping, high-fiving, "V" victory signs, and hand salutes.
Show up tomorrow, Sunday, April 5th, 1:00 - 4:00 PM and bring your family, friends and fellow Veterans. No excuses!

Just where are these Veterans Revolution Rallys held? I haven't come across a post yet that states location or times. This information is absolutely necessary if we expect to get people out.
