We recently rebuilt our web site and email list serve and wanted to let you know about a couple of upcoming Marine-related events!

We need volunteers - especially if you'd like to yell at, or rather, motivate the participants in the event.  If you can help us, please  email usmcajharper@hotmail.com with your name, contact info and  t-shirt size. Show time on 8/1 at Belmont Abbey is 0630 and we should  be complete around 11am.

Mid-September: next luncheon with the General featuring Major General Jack Davis, USMC Ret. More info on http://www.carolinamarines.org

We are considering adding a Charlotte-area Marine Corps hall of fame  page to our website as a way of recognizing all of the Marines in the  area. What we'd like to do is ask anyone who'd like to be listed on  the website to contribute a small dollar amount annually in order to  list their name, rank, unit on our web site.  This will help us pay  for the whole web site which is one of our only operating costs for  our council.  More info to follow.
