UNC-Chapel Hill Rally

The Gathering of Eagles together with the Conservative Women’s Voice of UNC-Chapel Hill is proud to announce a pro-America event!

UNC and GOE will unite and Support our Troops, Support their mission, and Support the United States of America!

This event is NOT a counter-protest. This is our time to make our voices heard! This is our time to speak out, and let the world know that we are PROUD to be Americans, that we are PROUD of our military, that we are PROUD to live in the Land of the Free because of the Brave!

What the GOE along with Rolling Thunder and others did on March 17th was a spectacular beginning. We will show the world that we are here to stay! We will be the Silent Majority NO MORE!

WHEN: Saturday, April 28th, 2007 Noon-3:00PM WHERE: Polk Place, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill

Come join us for live music and speakers, including Iraq war veterans and UNC students. Check back for more details on presenters and musician coming soon!

Of course, the event is free and open to the public, so if you are in the area or plan to be, feel free to join us! We are still trying to raise money for the event as well. Please consider a contribution to the Gathering of Eagles, or directly to the Conservative Women’s Voice of UNC. For GoE contributions, see the sidebar on the right. For CWV contributions, contact Anthony Stevenson via CWV -at- unc -dot- edu.

That’s CWV@unc.edu!

Checks may be sent to Gathering of Eagles, Box 291; Chocowinity, NC 27817. They should be made payable to "GOE" and noted "For UNC Rally."

Directions to UNC-CH can be found here: http://www.unc.edu/visitors/directions.html Information on parking will be here available here soon, so check back for updates.

Polk Place is located off South Road on campus, next to the Wilson Library. An interactive campus map can be found here: http://www.unc.edu/tour/LEVEL 2/polk.htm

As with DC last Month and Greensboro last week....I'm in! It must be difficult to be a conservative in Chapel Hill. It must be even harder to be a conservative on UNC's campus! Eagles need to show support for the CWV.

I'll be there as usual with camera, camcorder and all the related gear.

Eagles up!!!

I would love to be there, but am unable to. I am awed by the great work the GOE folks are doing. I am sure if you ever come down my way, I will be the one singing praises loud and clear in support of our troops and our Commander-in-Chief.

Way to go GOE and my prayers and thoughts are always with you.

Great event at UNC Chapel Hill!!. Lots of smileing faces every where!. We were well received, lot of great Eagles showed up. Our XO and his charming wife, and a band of Eagles did a outstanding job with the event.

Great speakers, Great loud music and the students were a refreshing change from the moonbats we see at there protest rallys

We were made to feel welcome at UNC. We,as usual, put the good foot forward to show all who we are, and what we stand for.

Eagles way up!!, on to our return to the Wall in May. See you all there.

Not one angry face in the crowd, got to love that these days.

To all the great Eagles I got to meet there, you guys were just great, feels good to home again with the men I left behind over 40 years age. You guys never aged one day!!, wish I could say the same.

A great prospective of the Vets on the other side of the line with AWARE.

If I were George W. Bush, I would be terrorized by the eyes of those scruffy-looking veterans, the so-called band of brothers, volunteering for the Kerry campain. They look like men with a score to settle

Tom Hayden X-Husband of Jane Fonda

Might these be the same group of Vets who now face GOE?,If so, they must wonder where all the other Vets come from at GOE1. WELCOME HOME, BROTHERS!!.

They will never speak for all Vets,NOT EVER, NEVER AGAIN!!

Thay are still our brothers, Like it our not, They earned the right, We earned our right, to free will ,and free expression of speech in a public place.

As We, the Gathering of Eagles, now have the equal rights to free speech, from here on out they will hear the loud the voices of the millions of other honorable Vets, who will answer with "The Other Side Of The Story", just to keep it "Fair and Balanced"

Welcome Home Brothers We will meet on equal ground from now on. We will back our facts, hope you do the same, as we are, I assume, all men of honor, who speak only the truth ,at all times.

Tom Hayden is recovering well from his marrage to the Wicket Witch Of The West and is now in a 12 step program, to learn never to do that bad thing ever again.

Who would know the evil mind of the great North Vietnam War Hero better then her marrage survivor?

From the cold, and mud, at the Vietnam Wall on March 17th 07, to the green grass of the compus of UNC Chapel Hill NC. The mind boggles at the true nature of the great work in progress, nationwide, by our brothers within the Gathering of Eagles membership

At each seperate GOE event those present see only a glint of light in the darkness, AWARE, and there fellow travelers, must be searching for there sun glasses to shield them from the bright light now shineing right into there eyes

Soon this "gathering of defeat" will have no place of safety to spread there message, safe from the truth, safe from any true opposition. We are sending them a strong message. They will fight us back, both to our face, and behind our backs, dig in, assemble in large numbers, and lets send them another message, loud and clear.

AWARE , CODE PINK , AND THE EVER PRESENT STAIN ON AMERICA, THE BLACK BLOC, FELLOW TRAVELERS.

SUCK IT UP MY FRIEND, WE ARE HERE, WE HAVE FACED YOU BEFORE, EVERY SINCE THE BIRTH OF OUR NATION, AND WE WILL STAND TOGETHER, IN YOUR FACE, TO HELP RECLAIM OUR NATION. LIKE IT OR NOT, " UNITED WE STAND"

We all know very well how to deal with the a bully in the school yard, great time for Eagles to teach playground rules of conduct, to people who think they own the school yard.

With great leaders ,like the two Larrys, Bailey, and Hoffa, we will fight the good fight. We have a chain of command, we have a growing army, we have the will to fight, they have a large group of people who have no idea of where they are in fact going, they have no idea who they are following, and they sure as hell have no idea where they are taking our country. WE DO!!.

SIC UM PROUD EAGLES!!.

Thanks COOP, once again I am the product of a government education, and I stand corrected. I guess Surrender Monkeys would be a tad to much, so ANSWER will be on a post a note over my laptop.

Have a great week end. see you again soon

I had a GREAT time at UNC Chapel Hill, NC yesterday! Thanks for another great event.

I was glad to meet some of the people that I have been talking to in these blogs and emails. It was nice to meet Eric, George, Denise, Doug, Bill, Dana, and many others who's names slip my mind.

I will continue to spread the word up here in Ohio. Hopefully, I will be able to bring a bunch of fellow Eagles to DC next month!

Let's keep up the great work and keep spreading the good word!

ALSO... Don't forget - to Support your local Recruiter next month!

Jim Diehl, my friend, at our age we all get a free pass on misspelled words, we might not get a A on spelling, but we all get a A + on content.

You fight them from Balize Jim, and we will all stand side by side at the Wall at Rolling Thunder. My paper work is on the way to request permission to ride with the Rolling Thunder chapter at Jacksonville NC, great group of proud Marines, hope they will let a Dog Face bring up the rear.

How could I forget the USN Jim?, Request permission to come aboard Sir.

YAKFIHER and BUBBA

Thank you for a great honor. I am humbled at you kind words.

I have 40 years worth of words inside me, GOE has allowed me to gather with you great Eagles to take my small place within the larger GOE picture,to say those words to those people who will once again try to dishonor our brave troops before my Bar Code expires. It is my great honor to be with so many true Americans. It warms my heart.

Now see what you have done Yakfisher and Bubba,

You made a old Vietnam vet, and the long suffering wife of a Vietnam vet, cry. Thank You From The Bottom Of Our Hearts.

Eagles Up , On To GOE2!!.
