Troops in Iraq LOVE coffee!

Eagles! What a tribute this is to Eaglehawk , our Hawaiian coffee man, who has sent thousands of pounds of Kona coffee to the troops in Iraq.

And Eaglehawk does this all by himself. What a great supporter of our men and women in uniform!

Some minor editing has been done for a variety of reasons, especially security.  The note is authentic and is from a USMC commanding officer in Iraq.

Mr. XXXXXX,

I just wanted to say how grateful we are to people like you, our fellow citizens, for keeping us and our nation's wars fresh in the minds of our people. It is my personal belief that, because we are not mobilized as in WW II and there is relative peace and prosperity at home, our fellow countrymen do not feel connected to this war... their war. Your efforts succeed in making this OUR war... after all, we are here doing this every day for all Americans.

Thank you again. You are a significant part of winning this conflict.

here's another one:

Classification: UNCLASSIFIED

Please give everyone our heartfelt 'thank you' for their support.

I think that I can speak for all my Marines when I say that the most
important factor in "high morale" (next to Kona Coffee of course!) is
the support of our citizens.  As long as we know that our countrymen
support us, we can do anything.

Thank you again for all that you do,

Aloha from the T.E.A in Maui, we will be on memeorial day, cleaning up some of the veterans cemetaies here. ,Our leader Marc, has already been shinning some monuments here. Our next rally will be in July. With all of us thinking about all of you. I am a property manager, I just happen to have a beautiful quest room, I f you come over to Maui, private post to me, AMarine will have a nice place to stay, dont overwelm me please, i need advance notice, and i would like to make that room available to a wounded or stressed marine. It overlooks two islands. This is my contribution to those whos ears are ringing. No libs please. If you come to Maui, you do have many friends, as few may know, we do per capita have the largest amount of vets in any state. The travesty is, we are surrouned by people who have no idea what is really going on, and who could care less. from an old sqid.
