OK, on the surface this sounds great. One question? Did anyone verify the validity of this group? Excuse me if I just be a little cautious here, because if this, I am pretty sure I can go. Transportation is my only draw back. But that might work out OK.
However, and again I just want to be cautious, did anyone look at the left sidebar and see bumper stickers.? When you click on it, you go to the cart. You see a nice bumper sticker on the left. We were commended by the CMPD supervisor on the rally line for obaying all of his directions during our counter rally. I feel each Eagle, all Eagles nation wide, should be proud the GOE got in Cindys face & she blinked, cut and fun & will cry foul on the great Police Officers of the Charlotte Mechlinburg Police Dept. I have great respect for the police officers who supervised our counter rally, they were fair in every respect. Thank You All. Jim D. Eagles received a ton of Main Stream Media attention in Charlotte NC with Cry Baby Cindy.
The most I have seen or read was pretty fair to the GOE, some were very favorable of our group. I do know as a fact I recruited at least 5 new Eagles, many more will join with us later. The Charlotte Mecklandburg Police Dept. stated the Gathering of Eagles were in complete compliance with all NC laws and were following the directions of the police officers during the entire counter rally. The spokesman for CMPD said he was supprissed there had been any complaints & the police have no requirement to place a protective screen between protesters & counter protesters. He also said the Gathering of Eagles were expressing their rights to free speech., and no laws were broken by the Eagles present,& no arrest were made during the rally. The CMPD is to be commended for their fair treatment of all present to insure a safe, but loud protest & our counter rally. Thank You CMPD.
