How do I get to the Gathering of Eagles on Saturday?

Here are some FACTS from the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority to help. (Edited for brevity) Home page: http://www.wmata.com/default.cfm

The Metro system opens at 0700 on Saturday.

All Metrorail passes are gate-activated. The fare gate activates the pass the first time it is used.

Refer to the information board at the Station Master's Kiosk how much fare you will need to commute to and from the FARRAGUT WEST Station.

If in doubt, ask the Station Master. The fare ticket machines will accept coins, $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills and credit/debit cards.

Parking at Metro-operated lots is FREE on weekends.

WHERE TO PARK: Gathering of Eagles STRONGLY RECOMMENDS that people arriving Saturday morning in personal vehicles park at a suburban Metro Station and ride the Metro into Washington DC. The nearest Metro Station to the Vietnam Memorial/Constitution Gardens is FARRAGUT WEST Station. Each of the Metro Stations listed below has large commuter parking lots.
