This is a place where we can gather to pray. Anyone is welcome. However, it is not a forum for debate. There are those who agree with and/or believe in the power of prayer and those who do not. This is for those who do.

Like other GOE activities, prayer warriors stand for our nation and stand for our troops. Whenever possible this is done tangible, visible Actions. However, if the God of the Bible is real, then He also tells us:

""For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Eph. 6:12)

And promises:

"When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chron. 7:13-14)

So we pray knowing God must fulfill His promises, already has the ultimate victory and is the Only Almighty power, Supreme to the "spiritual forces of evil at work in our society. The objective is to provide prayer cover to ask for God’s protection, provision and blessing on our troops, their families (including the wounded, families of our fallen heroes and veterans).

This prayer effort is as critical as any other GOE action. We need God’s power in this. Our human best efforts are not sufficient because He says:

"... apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5b)

And for those of us who cannot always be at as many GOE actions as we would like, being a GOE prayer warrior provides a unique opportunity to be an important part of the mission even when we can’t be there.

Please join us in prayer if you feel so called. There is no right or wrong way to participate. For instance, you can read prayers posted here and pray along in one accord, you can offer up prayers privately on your own, you can post your own prayers here. They can be long, short, seemingly eloquent or seemingly mundane. It doesn’t matter what your denomination or particular worship style. Importance is that prayer cover is established and the Spirit in which it is established so that God is honored and His hand is upon GOE endeavors.

One more thought, since we are asking for God’s covering (protection, provision, covering), we each want to be responsible that in whatever ways possible we operate in a way which reflects Him. This means prayers which are really just masked cursing will not be accepted. God already has the victory. Prayer is done in confidence, not fear or doubt.
