Gathering of Eagles Flyer: Print It, Get It Out There!
Posted On: February 12, 2007 at 1:04 AM By: < Former Member >
Earthdwellers from Free Republic designed this flyer for the event. Feel free to download it, print it, and distribute it. There are a lot of Americans who don't frequent blogs and forums online but are still angry about the protest against our troops and our memorials in Washington. Help get this information to them.

Download the flyer here. (You need Adobe Reader to view and print.)

Instructions for Printing:

This flyer should be printed as a high-resolution double-sided document on good quality paper, folded twice like a letter to produce a trifold brochure. This is your tool for activism at the grassroots level.

Print the first page then feed the paper back into the printer blank side up. Once you do that you can fold it and you are ready to go!

Even easier: Print it once and go to the local UPS store and have them print more copies for you.

If you want to use it as a one sided document to post to bulletin boards you can print the inside only. Take it to churches, post offices, universities, the local veteran's lodge, anywhere that will have it. You can also email a link to the flyer to everyone on your list.

Let's have a good turnout! God Bless our military!

Now--let's get it done!

is a shame why people are the way they are.. ignorance is a virtue to them.... they piss and moan, fight and kill, protest and forget, have no clue how to forgive and dwable in thier own status quo... they dont give a dam about what goes on around them... a parent losing a son, a wife losing a husband, a child losing his/her parent.. it all boils down to selfishness, ignorance... no consideration for others not even the dead.. dont matter if its a terrorist from ja ba ba land usin thier religion as a excuse or a full blooded american clutching a Bible, and doing the total opposite of what is written in the book they hold.. these heartless wonders are the first that want to be heard and reconized.. they feed off the attention they get when they band together and act and sound like total morons.... the wall in washington is a wall to honor those son's, daughters, husbands, friends... why try to ruin that for thier memory and for thier families.. they leave behind families whose only connection is thier name on that wall or a memorial to them for giving thier lives... how would these protesters feel if they had a loved one fighting in a war..(dont matter which war.. war is war... it brings death, heartache, disabled bodies, mindless thoughts..) (we know that the terrroists dont give a shit about anything.. not even themselves)....because people are like they are, they made sure that thier child or children act the same..(a child is a reflection of thier parents they say).. hyprocrites... thats all they are.. they talk the talk but have no balls to walk it.. my father, God rest his soul, served in WW2 at Utah Beach Normandy France... out of the many, many soldiers that went to Normandy, he was part of the few that came home and started a family... he brought home with him 2 purple hearts, scars, feet so bad that the skin felt like rawhide from frost bite while marching through France in the wintertime, and his memories... memories of what he saw, lived, felt... memories of some things that made him, a grown man, cry uncontrolably at times... stories so intense that i could never imagine in my life having to see or go through what he and his fellow commrades had to endure.. its like that in any war.. dont matter if it was WW2, Nam, Desert Storm, or Iraq.. service men and women go where the gov tell them to... they do thier job.... they try to come back to those that love them and are proud of them... some dont get the chance to come back to the love and honor.... so, to honor them, thier name is put on a wall or a plaque or a mounument... such a high honor and reconigtion it is, that it boggles my mind how people actually want to stand before any memorial and desicrate it with thier bullshit immaturity.... they have no feeling in thier hearts when they see the mother touching or kissing her son, daughters, husbands name on the vets wall... or for the husband trying to explain to his young child why his mothers name is honored on the wall... heartless fked up people is all i can call them.. one day, when its all too late, they will realize what irrogant, stupid, callus, inconsiderate, selfish, pathetic, unknowledgeable asses they lived to become...

Best of luck for all who are attending, I wish I could be there, but I am stuck at work that day. I've seen the Memorial several times and have found it to be a very moving experience.........it's hard not to be moved by it. I can't imagine why anyone would want to desecrate it! What a senseless act of vandalism.....why?? My neighbor is a peace activist and he and I have discussed this a few times, he says he simply doesn't want to see any more American soldiers die for what appears to be a hopeless situation. That seems to be fairly reasonable to me, so I guess not all activist are rabid anarchists. At least he isn't one of the wack-jobs who would throw paint on a monument! So good luck to all of you who attend......I'll be monitoring the situation that day from work. Let's hope that the day will be peaceful!
