It is with great pride and honor that I can report to you that the following Resolution was adopted to the
2009 Hawaii Republican Party Convention platform :

Re: Supporting our U. S. Troops in the Global War on Terror
Whereas : Our men and women of the United States Armed Forces serve with unparalleled dedication and selfless sacrifice
and stand in harm's way in the Global War on Terror, on our behalf, thereby Keeping our Homeland safe and
Whereas : We resolve that their sacrifices made shall not have been made in vain
Now therefore ;
BE IT RESOLVED by the Hawaii Republican Party sitting in convention on May 16th, 2009 , Kona, Hawaii, that this body stands wholeheartedly in support of the men and women of the United States military and their mission .
This is now a matter of permanent record in the Republican Party in the State of Hawaii . This resolution was written and put forth by the Hawaii Chapter of the Gathering of Eagles And unanimously passed by the entire Convention , with many Republican delegates offering comments of praise and complete support at the floor microphones and affirming their own dedication to and appreciation of our military members serving in the current Global War on Terror |
