I can attest that Chris is a great guy and a great leader. He did an exemplary job of getting us up, motivated and running here in the northeast. I am sure he will do the same nationwide in his new position.

Chris is easy to pick out. He's the one with the regulation military haircut (for the Dutch Army). :-)

My son is on his 5th deployment and he serves proudly. He is committed to his mission and I know that what he is doing is keeping all of us safe. I'm very proud of him. I had the honor of meeting Chris Hill at the GOE II in DC on May 26th. To all the folks in Illinois with family members in the service, please get in your cars and head to the Freedom Run on June 16th. To meet a Great American. Chris Hill is a very focused man with a passion for Soldiers beating deep within him. This man is committed to defending and protecting the honor of our Soldiers. He's dedicated and motivated and God knows our Soldiers need him. Come out, and let's all stand together for our Soldiers. They need us.

Hate to be a pain fellow midwesterners (born and raised in the Northern Burbs of Chicago)but there is something else to consider for this visit, we have $175,000 to raise by the end of next month....perhaps someone can help pass the hat?

And take lots and lots of GOE flyers to hand out to folks to spread the word about us....my background in fundraising and marketing kind of ruins things for me sometimes because I am also thinking about how to keep us flush and visable!

You guys are in a tough state (Dick Durbin and Obama for goodness sake!!!) so I wish you great success!!!

Hey Kate

Chi-Town girl? Just one more reason.....

But seriously, you are right about the $$$$$. If we intend to keep this thing rolling we are going to need to put some gas in the tank. I've posted a challenge under the "In Iraq, Semper Fidelis" heading. Figured lunch money for a day wasn't too much to ask for. Surprised the moonbats haven't looked at that donation chart and made some comments. That's what I would be doing and if that's what it takes to get the cash flowing I say let it rip!

later, bye

GOE Guests to the IL Motorcycle Freedom Run! May I encourage you to bring flyers to the event, but be Supportive and appropriate toward this Profound Organizations efforts! The Co-Founders are focused on Respecting and showing Honor towards the memories of the Fallen and their Gold Star Families! It costs $3.00 per letter to engrave the names on this Memorial Wall! They have more than 1,084 names to be etched this year alone! I am good friends with Tony Cutrano, and they share the proceeds from their fundraising with the Military Families in need! We all have a need to raise funds, but let us NOT let that distract us from our Collective Mission. We must first and always put the Families of Service personnel, Gold Star loved ones, Wounded Warriors and Veterans above all else!
