This weekend was a historic weekend for several reasons for GoE.
Gathering of Eagles has long supported Free Republic in their Friday Night stand at the main gate of Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Prior to this weekend our high attendance was around 150 patriots. Due to the '9.12 project' scheduled for this week, the addition of many 'tea party' groups, and the addition of a our WRAMC presence on many of those participating websites our attendance broke another record this Friday evening with around 500 patriots present to honor and support our young warriors currently at WRAMC. This post doesn't address the excellent work of 'papa duck' George Samek and his presentation of many laptops to the units within WRAMC ... I will let him tell everyone of the success of that continuing effort.
