You say "Gathering of Eagles is non-partisan" but what I see here suggests you are nothing but cheerleaders for the draft dodger president & vice president. W and Cheney did have a plan to get out of Viet Nam, and it worked beautifully. Unfortunately, they did not think their war in Iraq through before putting their plan into action. The fact that you support these scoundrel's policies despite the fact that NO ONE in the administration ever fought in a war has to make me wonder if your group really consists of military vets.

It IS possible to support the troops but NOT the war, and many of us vets have done just that. If you truely supported the troops you would insist on getting our troops out of Iraq as soon as safely possible. And leaving Iraq won't be nearly as easy as leaving Viet Nam, which if any of you were there like me, you know it wasn't easy at all.

Obviously you ARE a partisan group, and the fact you support the war in Iraq has to make one wonder where your financial backing comes from.

Feel free to espouse your beliefs, but don't try to tell us that you are non-partisan. That's simply bull****.
