Most of you know of our ongoing efforts to assist our brothers and sisters-in-arms who have fallen on hard times.  To that end, we are attempting to get a housing complex opened in suburban Philadelphia.  When completed, it will have 26 one-bedroom apartments as permanent housing, as well as onsite services and transportation to area Veteran Administration Medical Centers.  In partnership with a number of like minded organizations here in Pennsylvania we are staging the 1st Annual Pennsylvania Freedom Run on 17 September, 2011.
The ride will start at a number of area Harley-Davidson dealerships and converge on the town of Phoenixville, PA where there will be food vendors, troop support organizations, beer trucks and bands.  It promises to be a good, old fashioned throw-down of a party and you don’t have to ride to be part of a good cause or the great time.   To register, sponsor or simply assist go to http://www.sbmcphilly.com/ and become part of the cause.   The flier and sponsorship forms can also be downloaded from the GoE site.  As always, thanks for all that all of you do and please pass the word to anyone who can help.  Hope to see some of you there.  Manchu
