Leftists Disrespect Dead Soldiers

San Mateo- Anti war protestors have taken the liberties of our free speech amendment to post the following posters near Military Recruiting Offices.

armytoetagposter.JPGdeadmarineposter.JPG

Eagles, this is despicable! We cannot stand by and let this atrocity continue; think of all the recruiters we have met personally during ORA, think of the men and women who lay down their lives for us and this country's freedom-for the right of FREE SPEECH.

Eagles, we must band together and counter this as soon as possible. San Mateo cannot see this despicable lack of patriotism.

Eagles UP!

Gabi - I was just up at the Capitola, CA Recruiter station on Tuesday supporting them against Ragin' Grannies, Code Pink and GI Rights Hotline. You can see my posts on it at my temporary blog site (I''m having technical difficulties at my regular blog)

and

It's so bad here on the central coast. Very hard to get people to counterprotest - even the ones that support the troops. I know that most supporters work unlike so many of the protesters and they seem to have these rallies mid day - hmmm. But I wanted you to know that the recruiters here knew they were supported! I also handed out Soldiers angels t-shirts and coins to all the recruiters too so they would always have a reminder that "no soldier goes unloved".

Any Eagles in Nor Cal who want to figure out what we can do to counter this? I'm up for it - only about 65 miles from San Mateo.

Bubba's right, but the best WE can do at this time, I think, is to exercise OUR 1st Amendment rights and spray paint the crap out of these posters! And then put ours alongside/below/above them.

Thanks Gabi and MikeB Suffolk for the kind words and stopping by.

For all the Eagles in CA, here's a link to the best place to keep an eye on the protesters:

http://www.indybay.org/antiwar/

They have a calendar of events there so you can see where and when all the major "peace rallies" and such nonsense will be.

I'm moving to VA next month (woo hoo!!) so keep on them out here in CA, ok?

God Bless you all!!

I am disgusted that anyone who calls themselves a human being can say this. Do they not realize that in so many other countries, for saying that, they would be dragged out into the streets, stripped, beaten, flogged, and shot? If it weren't for the soldiers, could I say I am a Christian without living in fear of being fed feet-first through a grinder? Would my sister ever be able to show her face in public? Would my parents live wondering if the money they need to feed 8 children would be taken to be squandered on the palaces and the luxuries of a tyrant? You hateful few have taken the right that was GIVEN to you by our soldiers, and abused it beyond the wonderful thing that it is. Try telling the dictator of Iran that he can't kill you because you have the RIGHT to speak freely. He would probably laugh at you.

And then he would kill you.

Freedom is NOT free! You are not free because that's just the way it is. You are not free because some guys in suits and wigs say you are. You are free because, for the sake of honor, people left behind their lives and went to die on the fields of battle in all their forms. They loved you, so much that they have given their lives for you, even with the poison that was on the knife in their backs coursing through their veins. Because Honor also coursed through them.

There is no greater love than this There is no greater gift, that can ever be given to be willing to die so another might live there is no greater love than this

-Steven Curtis Chapman, 'No Greater Love'

Thank you soldiers for the gift you have given me. I will cherish it a live a full life, because you were willing to sacrifice yours. God bless, our prayers are with you. Stay safe out there.

Mr D has my email if you would rather do it that way. Not sure if you have his or not. Many as you know & for good reason are; CLASSIFIED, EYES ONLY !

Was I suppose to capitalize "jarhead land" ?? ha ha ha. Damn I'm funny early in the mornin' !!!

Be careful 66

I did not join the United States Army to defend you guys, Religion, or your family.

I joined to defend the Constitution of the Untied States. When my commander in chief, failed to follow the Constitution, and failed to listen to the Iraq Study Group, and fails to support the Army that I love, I can not in good standing not speak out.

You can label me leftist, but I am not, you call me a traitor, I am not. I served with the First Infantry Division as Cavalry Scout. I was stationed in Vilseck Germany, and deployed to Kosovo for 9 months, and deployed to Iraq for a year. I did the best damn job then, and I still believe our troops are doing the best damn job they can now.

Please answer me this, how can you hold ill words and feelings toward any veteran for what they believe is right. There is less than one half a percent of this country’s population serving in the Military today; we as veterans can not afford to turn our backs on each other.
