Well, it was pretty disorganized to begin with. Code pink and their affiliated communist retards said they were going to meet up at the Amtrak Station in the town of Quantico. I was sitting about 100' from the amtrak station to monitor their arrival. Even saw one get a ticket from the MPs for some reason ... maybe being entitled. Well, you speed or run a light and you ARE entitled to a ticket which is payable at the Federal Court in Alexandria because the offense occured on the Marine Corps Base. Others arrived in groups of 2 - 6, wearing their 'arrest Bush' and 'Stop the war in Iran' T-shirts. I swear I think I recognized some of them from when I faced them in the 60s ... they still haven't taken a bath or washed their clothes. There was a good police presence comprised of DHS, PWC County, MPs. All the side gates that are normally opened to the base were closed with police waiting on the other side. This left one way in to town and one way out of town ... with representatives from all law enforcement maintaining a heavy presence at that location.
Both sides were given a location in the park down at the edge of the Potomac River, next to where the Quantico Hospital used to be. There were probably 100 - 125 of them polluting the parkland. They stayed well away from the Potomac river, probably scared that they would get washed and deloused if they got too close. We had our gathering about 90' from theirs. There were roughly 12 of us present ... great odds ... we had the power!!!

There were representatives present from Gathering of Eagles, including new Eagle ''Sarge' who actually signed the permit for our side, Guardian Angels, Protest Warrior, Free Republic, Blackfive and several walk-ins who were active duty military but in Civvies.
Concrete Bob had his moment of fame when Channel 7 (ABC) news wanted to take a picture of his sign. When he finishes growing his beard Bob and I are probably going to look like twins!!!
Uncle Jimbo from Blackfive was a magnet to the news media and always willing to offer up well spoken commentary on why we were there and what our combined organizations purpose was about. Here is Channel 7 (ABC)
... I'm not sure which network these people represented but the young lady doing the interviewing had that deer in the headlights look ...
Of course the libturd commies couldn't let the day go by without providing their humorous 2nd grade impersonation of ninja warriors or some such prattle. I swear these people are really, REALLY RETARDED!!!!!!!!!!
Didn't see Dr Death until I was on the way out. At first I thought it was Medea Benjamin in a burka ... but then I figured out it was actually supposed to be Dr Death! I guess the number is the number of Afghanistan's that have been killed due to the theft of Top Secret documents by the lefts new hero, gay wad traitor Spc Bradely Manning.
It was a good day although I'm glad to be back in the air conditioning of my home. Pop a top again ... Thanks to all who showed up, It was indeed a pleasure to stand with all y'all ... Semper Fi
