I am proud to report that we took in over $1300.00 Veteran's Day night at our fundraiser for homeless veterans here in Philly. When the last checks that have yet to be received in the mail are tallied, we will probably be north of $1500.00. 100% of the funds collected will go to directly to aid homeless veterans here in Philadelphia. We will not be spending the money on anything very sexy. Rather, we will be purchasing tooth brushes, tooth-paste, travel size shampoos and deodorants, and other assorted articles for those of our brothers and sisters-in-arms who have fallen on hard times. I will not rest until each and every man or woman who has ever worn the uniform is off the streets, but these funds will go a long way towards easing their trials and travails. Thank you all very, very much. Your generosity and humanity are both overwhelming and humbling. Special thanks to Cmdr. Joe Eastman USN Ret., Frank Sileo USA 101st Airborne Vietnam, and Edd Conboy of Broad Street Ministries. Excellent work gentlemen. HOOAH! Manchu.
