Eagles!

My good buddy Robert Gowan continues to do an unbelievable job of supporting our troops, especially the Marines.  He organizes send-offs and welcome-home events for them, and he is always organizing demonstrations in support of our troops.  You've seen the photos he has made of many of his GOE events.  And he has sent almost 5000 pounds of that great Kona coffee to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan!

Unfortunately, his digital camera has bit the dust, and we won't be getting any photos from him (unless he borrows them from somebody else).  Well, I think that's unacceptable!  Tell you what--I'll contribute the first $25.00 toward a fund to buy Robert a new camera, unless Bev Perlson beats me to it!

Eagles, please send your checks to me, made payable to "Gathering of Eagle;" please put a note in the memo line saying "Gowan Camera."  I'll deposit them and send the proceeds to Robert to purchase a good digital camera.  The one he needs costs about $500.00, and I think we can raise that for him.
