Personally, I've quit calling them liberals. If you believe their own self-description, some of the fundamental tenets of "liberalism" are respect for others' views, tolerance of others' beliefs, and a willingness to get along with people of all creeds, colors and belief systems. In reality, we find that these people tend to be disrespectful, viciously intolerant, and ruthlessly exclusive to anyone who doesn't share their belief system. "Liberals" are a rare breed. The people you're talking about are something else - "leftists" definately, and perhaps the term "fascists" is the best descriptor.

Mind you, I'm not defending liberals in general, but they've reached such an abysmal low that calling them liberals gives them more credit than they deserve. Please stop using that term - it doesn't fit.
