It really was great day. We had a blast. My kids sincerely appreciated what happened this weekend.

I agree, more people would of course be a big plus, but the number we had still meant alot, I think. 500 - 600 was okay for this gathering, 10 times that would be better, however, going to DC is major pain in the ass for the average American.

It'd be nice to be able to empty out all the schools in the area like the hate-America fascists do to swell their numbers, but that'd mean 95 of us wouldn't know why they were there.

With us, every one of us pays our own way, we all have a personal reason for being there, a certain connection to the issue, a calling for a greater good. The moonies are a just a big fat walking bag of a$$holes filled with hate, lies and idiots.

I know I'm on the right side, even if I was alone.

It was an honor and a privilege to walk with so many patriots that fine day. Numbers don't mean half as much as commitment, and that we had in bushels. I was amazed, since I started at the very end of the march, to look back and see how many had joined us.on the way! DanNY

No better way to spend a weekend than marching down Constitution Ave. with Soldiers/Vets and Eagles in support of our troops and their mission.

The crowd was extremely positive and inspiring. Marching down Constitution and having people honking, waving, jumping off the sidewalks to walk with us and even a bus load of young children stopped to grab American flags and march to support the troops was incredible.

I even finally met somebody from Vermont that was worth a damn. They were the GOE leadership in Vermont and were nice enough to sell me a GOE flag.

We blasted the Capital area with support for our troops and pride in our country and you could tell that the people on the street felt proud also. This is a huge contrast to the hate and bigotry displayed by the left when they march.

Thank you to the GOE,Eagles Up,Free Republic, and everybody that marched for showing up and letting our troops know that we have their backs.

God bless our Troops and God's speed to General Petraeus.

Fantastic day in D.C. Great turnout and it was wonderful to see all of the American Flags and troop supporters marching up Constitution Ave. The response from the crowd was overwhelming. Shouts, cheers and honking horns. Not one moonbat showed its face despite the threats and warnings. We even had a bus full of visiting school-children see us and jump off the bus and join us in our march. If you werent there you sure missed a good time. Great job on the flags, Kathy. GOE flags were out in force and flew proudly side-by-side with the red, white and blue, flags representing all of the branches of the military and many others. We are winning the fight against the moonbats and will continue to pile on the pressure. No threat, protest or march by them will go unanswered.

Free Speech is used in many manners. But the one manner in which it should never be used in, is in a seditious manner. One can question the Government or support the Government with their Free Speech. There is nothing wrong with that. But when one uses their free speech to break the resolve of the people while we are at war, that is sedition and should be treated as such. We debated the war before we went. We will have plenty of time to debate it when it is over. While we have boots on the ground, I would hope that we ALL would stand with our Troops and their efforts.

It is my understanding that while we had boots on the ground in Vietnam, Minh was funneling Russian and Chinese money into an organization called the CPUA (Communist Party USA). The CPUSA were the ones who organized most of the anti war protest here in the US during the Vietnam war. You can credit some of these people in this organization for breaking the will of the people to fight the war. We did not lose that war on a battle field. We lost it right here in the United States of America.

If we allow people to irresponsibly use our Free Speech, this same thing could happen again. There has to be a line drawn at some point. We have to hold people responsible for their motives to break our resolve. Why is it not sedition, when it is the motive of an organization to break our resolve to win a war? But let it be known, that in my heart, I look at organizations like IVAW and Code Pink as seditious traitors to our Nation, our Troops, and myself.

I was there this weekend and would not have wanted to be anywhere else. The turnout was great! Friday night at Walter Reed was especially emotional for me. To see those commie bastards protest a hospital housing the men and women who have fought to protect their freedoms and have gotten injured in the process is just digusting. When the bus came back to the hospital tears came to my eyes to think that anyone would disrespect someone with so much integrity and honor. One of the injured soldiers got off the bus witih his wife to greet us. I can't remember his name, but he was very appreciative of our support as was his wife. His wife told us a horrible story about their friend who is a triple amputee. He came back from Iraq and while they were out one day some one came up to him, spit on him and told him that he deserved what he got! This is why it is so important that we continue to show up each and every time to counter these hateful people.

Sassysuz and Toothlessdawg it was a pleasure meeting you, hope to see you again in April. Zeke you're looking fly as always! Good to see you again. Dan, Carolyn, Fernando, Garth et. al., as always, a pleasure to be in your company.

Our children joined us on this trip and the reactions they had to whole event was worth the five hour drive. They were both very proud to be marching in the parade. My son, who is 17, is amazed that there are so many ignorant, hateful people among us. He was so inspired by this trip that he has asked to come in April and would also like to bring a friend. So needless to say, we will be there in April and look forward to seeing you all again. God Bless our Troops and God Bless you all!

It's no surprise that the DC rally was so successful. THIS IS AMERICA. We marched and carried the spirit of the millions of Americans that couldn't be there. They came from coast to coast to stand up and say; WE THE PEOPLE, love and honor our Country and our troops. We will spit in the eye of the radicals and tell them in clear language; this is our Country. These are our streets. You radicals are welcome to leave our Country at anytime.

Patriotism is spreading across America and it grows with each passing day, because we tell our neighbors, join us, this is where you belong. We fight for our Country's future and the future of our children and their children

Woodrow Wilson said, " Our Nation has no character, other then that which we give it from generation to generation." We will not hand down to our children a weak and watered down version of America, but one that remains true to its principles. Many of us have taken the oath to defend America and its constitution from all enemies, foreign or domestic, and we will live by that oath until our dying day.

We have the moonbats on the run. Lets drive them back into the shadows they came from. I would like to thank those that helped push my wheelchair along the parade route and especially that native American. He had just arrived for a week's leave, but took precious time from his leave to stand with us. God speed and come back safe from Iraq, my friend.

We came, we saw, we marched, WE KICKED BUTT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright Eagles, concretebob is back from TDY with EaglesUP and ready for the next one. Many thanks to all of you who came and participated. I busted my butt getting this together and you didn't let me down. Thanks also to Captain Bailey who graciously allowed me to assist our brothers and sisters in EaglesUP and put this thing together. That gesture alone was worth the effort I expended. Thanks to my good friend Manchu, who was his usual belligerent self. (It grows on you after awhile, and is actually quite charming, in a twisted sort of way)

April will be here before you know it, so make plans. Lets get out and show our CMNF-I that we believe in him, we are behind him and we could care less what the left wing nuts and the enemedia says: WE WILL WIN THIS ONE!!!

I forgot to mention that guy sitting on the street playing the trumpet for change. When he saw us, he stopped playing what he was playing and went right into the National Anthem. That was very moving. This street-guy, probably a vet, knew right then and there what to do, and he did. Beautiful!

I wish I saw the bus kids join in. I saw them all on the bus waving and cheering, but then I'd passed.

Capt. America was in excellent form again, as was the other guy with the red shirt and black hat. I don't know him, but he was on for sure; at WRAMC too, as he stuck his bullhorn in the codepink car in Madusa Benjamin's face. Classic!

Finally, when Gunny Hoffa talked before the parade about how frustrated he was seeing those Berkeley kids dragging and kicking the flag around and how he "just wanted to punch them in the face"... that really tore me up. Especially when his voice broke as he teared up & wiped his eyes. That really bothered me. I welled up on that one, because I feel the same way. Little friggen idiots. They sicken me.

Navywife said she'll be there in April, so I guess I'm going too.

I was there with my friends from Indiana and they were carrying a GOE flag and a sign that said home of the free because of the brave during the march.

As a recently retired member of the US Army (1 Feb 08) , I couldn't have been prouder to march with my brothers and sisters from Eagles Up, GOE, Rolling Thunder, Patriot Guard, DC Protest Warriors, Band of Mothers, the Gold Star and Blue Star families, and all the others, I can tell you that over the last year of Active Duty, your actions and the actions of all the groups buoyed me and reminded me why I chose the profession that I did. Now it's time to give a little back myself to my brothers and sisters still on active duty, in the reserves and the guard and I couldn't think of a better way to do so.

We moved to North Arlington, just across the river from DC in the spring of 1960. I was standing on Pennsylvania Avenue watching President Kennedy's inauguration parade. Three years later, i watched his funeral. I could hear the cheers for MLK's speech. I watched the smoke rise from the city during the riots in '68 and listened to the many anti war protests of hundreds of thousands. During all that time, not one person stood against the people that were determined to destroy the country, and they almost succeeded. We cannot let this movement die, no matter how hard, no matter the cost because the ultimate price is unimaginable.

I was proud to be there and wil continue to be there...

To all Eagles, thank you all for taking the streets back. We own them now and we will continue to own them. I talked with two officers after our March and they could not thank us enough. They stated that it was about time we took the streets back and they were very proud of us. Bob, a big thanks for all your hard work. The final approval of our efforts came with the Eagle circling our group 6 times then heading to the capitol. Need more be said ?...

First let me clarify one thing. We have always owned the streets. We just forgot! Well, now we are no longer doing so! I am sorry to say I couldn't make the beginning of the rally. But, I did get there for the end. It truly was awesome. I felt immense pride at seeing all the flags and hearing the cheers and honking horns!

What we are doing is re-awakening the "American Spirit" that had become complacent! Damn it felt good! 'Never Again" is the perfect battle cry. "Support Our Troops" is the right cause. Let those traitors never again devide our nation.

I wwill be there in April if I have to walk!!
